I Bought one today to replace a broken 2024 60Hz Mini-LED TV in Colorado. Found it in the app before leaving home, there were still 4 left. This is a 2025 model.

This 2025 seems to have a little more power than the 2024, and game controllers work in Xbox mode (2024 version had controller freezing issues) .

Drawbacks are the 100 megabit Ethernet port, and the one size fits all Android tv build that may not report media compatibility correctly (a big issue in the 2024 tv). They didn't even take time to program in the tv model number. However, Google tells me this processor is AV1 compatible and the GPU core is significantly better, so fingers crossed.

Thanks for posting this. I was about to buy the 75-inch model Costco has for $479, which is also a great deal, but spending an extra $20–$30 for local dimming is a no-brainer.

Bought one of these a few days ago. It died almost immediately. Bummer.

No. The U series outdoors the E series.

Happened upon this TV yesterday at my local Sam's. The wife and I have been looking for a good deal on a budget TV to replace our 8 or 9 year old 55" TCL bedroom TV that's on its last legs due to the backlight dying out. Hadn't seen this post yet either but went ahead and bought one. $500 for a 75" QLED mini LED with a higher than 60 Hz panel and supposedly 1300 nits of brightness is a great deal for our use. We have an 85" TCL QM8 in the living room as our main TV. Just wanted something half decent for cheap for cursory watching in the evenings or gaming. I think this will do just fine. I wouldn't have gone with it if it were normal price. I think compared to the U6 and U7 sets, those are better if spending around that $800+ price point.
