Had a couple of these in my old house. Worked well for what it was. I have since switched over to Caseta for everything. Lutron requires a hub, whereas these connect directly to your WiFi. I believe 2.4ghz only.

Similar path and experience here - I have slowly been converting everything to Lutron Caseta, but the TP-Link Kasa switches have served me well. Inexpensive way to get in to home automation, started with automating exterior lights coming on at dusk/off at 10PM. Kasa smart plugs for holiday lighting.

I've settled on the Lutron Casetas mostly from a house resale perspective - they can be left in place and hopefully are a value add for buyers. I take advantage of the Pico remotes to add 3 way switching in our ~60YO house, to bring things up to current "code" (upstairs/downstairs hallway lighting control from either floor). I've recently started adding Lutron's smart plugs, as they allow control of multiple lamps with a single button press in our LR - that functionality will remain for the next owners without needing Lutron's hub, as their Picos pair "peer to peer" without the need for their hub.
