This 5 in 1 HDMI switch is a handy way to add more inputs to a TV or monitor, especially for 4K 60Hz setups and retro consoles. It fits well when a display only has a few HDMI ports, and the remote makes source changes easier. The main limits are that it tops out at 60Hz, lacks automatic switching, and is not suited to PS5 features that need HDMI 2.1 like VRR and 4K 120Hz. A practical budget add on if your gear stays within HDMI 2.0.
Common Questions (5)
No. It is limited to HDMI 2.0 and up to 4K/60Hz, so it will not provide PS5 features that require HDMI 2.1 such as VRR or 4K/120Hz. It is a better fit for setups that only need the TV's HDMI 2.0 maximum output.
No, it does not have automatic switching. You have to switch inputs manually, though the included remote makes that easier.
Yes. It adds extra HDMI inputs for TVs that only have 2 or 3 ports, which makes it useful for consoles, PCs, and retro systems without constantly swapping cables.
At $20, it is a solid value for a 4K/60Hz switch with a remote, especially if you only need HDMI 2.0 performance. It is also listed at $25 on Amazon, so the Woot price is the cheaper option.
Yes. It works for retro console setups like Sega Saturn and Dreamcast, and the extra ports leave room to add more consoles later.
