Bought this on the Beach deal a few weeks back. Was concerned about the brightness as our den has windows on both walls at 90 degrees from this, and a fairly large skylight just a little forward of it. As it turns out, I need not have worried. We replaced a highly rated 2 year old 65" qled with this and are quite pleased with the upgrade. The sound is good enough that we haven't used our soundbar since we installed it. It was a bit heavy and awkward to lift onto its stand, and then on to our tv stand, so make sure you have help! We paid $1,450 (plus tax) with a four-year warranty and are perfectly satisfied with our purchase.

it's not as good.. mainly just in brightness the c6h has the newer tandem panel.

this TV does hdr10+ and Dolby vision. the Panasonic will have better sound.. Panasonic should have better processing and better build quality.

the LG is good, but it's also $800 more . I personally don't think this TV is $800 worse

Panasonic's top of the line OLEDs are supposed to be amazing. It is a shame we can't get them in the US.

Annual energy cost: $90. This is more than other tvs in segment. Also costs more than that if you live in a state with high power costs.

I would only consider TV stands with at least 150 lbs capacity like these. I have the Perlegear tv stand for a different TV and it's been solid.

I do believe this is a great TV but it's hard for me to believe that it weighs twice as much as my 77" LG C4

It does weigh 100 lbs because of the integrated speaker system.

I have mine stand mounted on a sanus vstv 2. I'd recommend it. I saw some cheaper alternatives but I'm wary of the glass base on most of them. Some will say it's equal to steel, but steel will flex and bend, whereas those will simply shatter.

These don't rise high enough to be used as a regular stand. You'd have to place this ontop another stand that likely wouldn't hold 100 pounds.

I had the same problem with the remote. After a couple weeks of use, I noticed that it took 2-3 tries to power it on. Research showed it was a remote sync issue and I went through the instructions I found online to resync the fire remote and it's been fine since. I've had it for a couple of months and it's an amazing TV. I get that some people don't like Fire TV. It doesn't bother me at all. The bonus for me is, I don't always even need the remote. I have an echo dot near the TV and I can just tell Alexa what I want; "Turn on my Panasonic TV" or "Watch Jeopardy on Hulu on my Panasonic TV." Pretty cool.

A lot of TVs' on board speakers are something like 10 or 20 watts x2 for stereo. This TV has built in multiple Technics tuned speakers and a sub that work with Atmos. Two front firing, two side firing, two up firing (I believe that's what I read). All combined it's 170 watts as opposed to 20 or 40 for many other TVs. I'd imagine that would account for the increased energy usage but the difference is you get better on board sound. If you were going to use an external sound bar with a different TV I would think that would up the combined energy usage to watch something to around what this TV uses.

As others have said, this TV is heavy. I replaced a 65" LG 4k LED from about 2017-18. I was able to put my hands on the sides of that TV and just lift it off the wall mount by myself with no problem. At 77" I can't even get my hands around the edge of this TV let alone lift the weight myself. Unlucky for me my 16 year old was away when I needed to mount this so I carried one side and my wife and 10 year old carried the other and it was a legit struggle for them. If there were two of me it wouldn't have been a problem. I used the same wall mount that the old 65" was on with no issue other than having to readjust the tilt angle. I guess the mount I used 8 years ago was a good one and the job I did putting on the wall was also good. Lol.

Where do you even go look at this tv to compare in store. I cant find a place that carries it? Sams club? Walmart? Target? Best buy? Those are my options.
