This OMEN 45L configuration is mainly a way to get into an RTX 5090 desktop, with the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K and 1 TB SSD making it a strong high-end base. The EPP path can land around $3,900 before tax, though the same machine was lower last month and the accessory discount only works under account and cart limits. The 16 GB memory and nonmodular HP power supply also make upgrades less convenient. A solid starting point if you want the 5090 first and can live with the platform quirks.
Gamers chasing a 5090 desktop, because the GPU upgrade is priced as the main value and the Intel chip is still strong enough for the rest of the build.
Gamers who want the strongest gaming CPU out of the box, because the Intel configuration is described as weaker for gaming than the AMD 9800X3D option.
Builders planning a straightforward case swap, because the motherboard lacks a front-panel USB-C header and the non-modular PSU and wiring can require adapters.
The 25% accessory discount worked for some carts but not all, and it appears to be limited to one PC per account/order setup. It also expired on 8/15, so availability depends on timing and account history.
The Intel Ultra 7 265K version is better for productivity, while the AMD 9800X3D version is better for gaming and comes with 16GB more RAM in the cited configs. The AMD option also has a more modern motherboard/case setup with front-panel USB-C.
The PSU is not modular and only includes a 12V connector, so swapping to an 8-pin GPU can leave you short a cable. Moving the system into a standard case may also require front-panel USB-C adapters and a power-switch rewire harness, and some USB-C adapters can limit the front port to USB 2.0 speed.
We just did earlier. I gave you the price I got. Lol
2:31PM EST post. Has link and the price I got.
Let me know what your prices are
You cannot use the account you already bought the Intel deal in. Need a separate acct. xoxo
I will retry again later. I just saw above that someone could not get it to work. It def worked for me. Maybe I should just order one first at this point. lol lol
I used a hyperx keyboard 70% at the time as the accessory. It was $169 with some instant off etc and was like $76 in the cart and then it activated the 25% discount for the 5090 PC
-------------------------
NM, lol, Just saw your new message. Yeah, I had a buddy who just wanted me to order, and I was going to churn the rewards
I will check back around midnight time, and see if something changes

You are welcome! Let me know if you got other questions, I've taken apart a few Omens to re-use the AIO etc and RGB board in other PC cases. The wifi card too.
Dang. Deal would have been fire. Guessing it was a very small window it was working
It was actually available around 8/1 also. Idk, I just didn't like the total after taxes being in $4500 range. But then again GPU prices are all going up and ram seems to be going up still. I guess I need to move up my price tolerance higher!
GPU prices are rising
Amazon lowest price (sold by amazon.com is $4800 floor) for a 5090
NetEgg prices were always high, similar to Amazon and I don't look there for a GPU.
MicroCenter prices creeping up on a few, they still have a 5080 model that is $1250 and 25+ in stock so I'm not rushing to buy any GPUs still. Will scope up decent deals only.
A lot of outlet are reporting 5070 at $900 for some reason.... idk. I don't see that yet. There were a few web articles citing increase for Gigabytes and also in some Japan news outlet about supplies constrained and prices are going up.
Hard to get concrete info but HP prices are still steady on the GPU itself as it is still $1750 upgrade from 5070 -> 5090 on a custom config.
If we see something other than $1750 then it will be too late, it means all of HP's own committed lot of 5090's are done and they are going into a new pricing bracket batch. LOL.
Enjoy this while it lasts, even if the bubble bursts, the price will not benefit the Gamers for a very long time cuz they are all already commit to the data center GPUs, not the consumer GPUs.
There was another report I think related to Asus that Nvidia is not even supplying them with 5080 boards anymore (it was just board and no ram for as a rumor but seems like boards are also just not being made). LOL LOL
I've bought 8 5090 desktops and 1 5090 laptop since January. It's been a fun ride just tinker with HW. Ride it until it's too expensive and time to get a new hobby then.

Yes, GPU price keeps rising. I wish I had bought more than 1 Dell RTX Pro 6000 back in June when the price was still 8K. With a lot of more powerful LLMs, multiple Pro 6000s will really benefit from them.

Can I just use corn as the answer? It won't make sense anyway. A few people already proved what I am doing is just silly goose stuff. In for 2. Don't feel like creating 2 more accts for 2 more. Annoying this time with the order limits
Is this expired now or can I make account for another one? Order 1 a couple days ago then got too busy.

Still works, just not visibly promoted on the main Omen page if you go directly but the direct link from the OP post will take you to the right model for Ultra 7 265K config. It is possible the stock is running low and the new promotions are about to show up.
The 25% accessories deal expires today 8/15. (It was extended from a week before though -- hopefully it's a real coupon next!!!!).
You cannot use the same account as your last order is the only thing you need to get around.
You can buy the 2nd one other ways. the Non-EPP is around $135 more per my calculation but I still think it's worth it as a cheapest way to get into 5090's pants.
with EPP $3,900
without EPP $4,035
But don't let me convince you, there are others who might still say they can buy 5090 GPUs for $3500.
So now the options are - do you get it now with annoying accessories, or gamble on there being a coupon deal and possibly 9800X3D config for a little bit more money and completely see no deal for another few weeks.
GPU price updates for people who are actually buying them.
Even MicroCenter lowest priced 5090 GPU is at $4200 now. LOL LOL.

The base configuration shown is a 5070, not a 5090. The GPU can be changed in the custom flow, where the 5070 is upgraded to a 5090.
Use the CUSTOM & BUY flow and change the GPU from 5070 to 5090. The EPP custom cart path also shows the 5090 upgrade paired with the 1200W PSU.
