Yes if you have the gears to maximize the upgraded video and sound content quality.

Personally, as much as I like MG on screen, he is like Tom Cruise, while he does fantastic movies and picks roles that suit him....he plays a single character in every movie. You could take William Wallace out of Braveheart and throw him into Signs or Mad Max...and the movie would barely change.

IMO he is a passable actor (with a great on screen presence though), but a fantastic director.

P.S. The Robert the Bruce 'sequel'to Braveheart kinda sucked when it had no right to. Not directly related, just saying Wink

You can get the Gladiator / Braveheart combo for 22.50 4K, I don't believe they have the Blu-rays with them but most already have the BRs and the BRs has more special features. The combo is the same quality as if you bought separately, I just looked it up to make sure (I own the combo). ps, I hate that ' you ' have to lookup each 4K disc to see if its -even worth buying or make sure you're buying the right one! -eye roll, gets old.

"Over the past 30 days, the price of Gladiator/Braveheart 2-Movie Collection (4K Ultra HD + Digital) has been steady at $22.80"

Still great movies at a great price though, thanks.

I know what you mean. Are you sure the 4k discs included in the combo pack are the newest and best 4k versions?

Yeah. The guy who placed Robert the Bruce in Braveheart played him in that film so fair to call it a "sequel." Disappointing, though.

I loved that actor and there were a lot of other great actors in the movie, just turned out less than the whole of its parts.. They probably didn't have the budget for more than just a drama piece but even that sort of flopped.

Right. I was being extremely facetious with that one. Its far easier to find better actors than Mel. Look no further than The Godfather. Mel has some issues IMO.

As long as you overlook the storytelling, acting, and historical accuracy as anything less than community theatre play embarrassing.....absolutely and glad you enjoyed it.
