I've only just started using my existing supply of SUNLU filaments, but they have been good and I like them.

Good price for 4 rolls. Bought up a ton of their transparent PLA colors recently -- including the white/yellow/orange/purple set here -- and they print well and are remarkably clear. I've had people look at my prints with the clear 'white' (just pure clear color) and say it looks more transparent than PETG. Be aware that their transparent green is REALLY green -- like, neon acid green, super bright.

So is the clear white just clear transparent?

Anyone else have their sunlu pla just randomly break just sitting there? I have white pla+ and I keep coming to my printer and finding it broken where it feeds in.

This is the preferred filament that I use in my x1c, always consistent and best price ever, however I buy hs pla and HS petg mainly for the same price as regular speed

I've had my filament do that too (not this brand) It'll break in the PTFE tube while it's just sitting there

Sunlu was one of my first PLA. I can't use anything stronger or different for printing so i've decided to try something better, hyper, plus...

Yes, this is a common issue and not just with Sunlu. PLA does something weird when it sits inside PTFE tubes. Moisture absorption, micro fissures, curvature under stress, whatever it is, lots of people experience this issue with lots of different brands. Even my favorite "tough" filament, Polymaker PLA Pro, frequently experiences this if I leave it too long. Retracting the filament from the PTFE tube is, unfortunately, the only way I know of to prevent this breakdown.

Yes. Whether or not I dry. I've stopped buying because it seems I'm the only one.

Wait till you get a printer and have 40 rolls, but can't decide what to print.

So is the clear white just clear transparent?
That's correct. It's "pure" transparent... basically clear, uncolored filament. The actual label on the spool just says "Transparent." (The colors have the color in the label as well, e.g. the label on the spool for the purple one reads "Transparent Purple.") I guess they have to specify "white" so it doesn't look like they made a mistake and omitted the color type.

I find that happens with all my pla+ and Bambu ams when filament sits there for a number of days.

I've had consistent issues with every roll of their white PLA that I've tried, but their other colors have been really good.

For me, this happens with every Sunlu spool, and I'm not sure why. However, there are no issues with filaments from sub-brands of Sunlu, which is weird.
