Incidentally, I bought this exact deal last year from Meh and thought the product was total crap. It's a pain to clean and the cold brew it produces pales in comparison with actual cold brew steeped in a jar for 12-18 hrs. I donated mine to Goodwill.
Community Reviews
This 2 pack electric cold brewer is mainly a fast way to make ready to drink iced coffee, not concentrate, with batches yielding about three drinks in roughly 45 to 60 minutes. It also works for tea and other mixes, and the glass carafe and removable stirrer make the setup more versatile than a basic jar. The main knocks are cleaning around the spinning disk and grooves, plus some reports that the brew can taste weak or grainy without a paper filter or finer grind. A practical low cost option if you want quick cold brew without overnight steeping.
The magnetic stirrer setup can produce a good cup of iced coffee in real use.
The carafe and stirrer design reportedly allows the carafe to come off the base.
FSDEALS and BDFREE coupons reportedly can reduce checkout cost and enable free shipping.
The brewer can make ready-to-drink cold brew instead of concentrate for easier serving.
Cleaning can be difficult under the spinning disk and in grooves, especially around the o-ring retaining ring.
Coupon codes can stop working after clicking through or after a short time window.
The product can be hard to justify for some buyers because cleaning is a pain and the cold brew quality can disappoint.
The mixing power can be relatively weak, which may lead to grainy French-press-style results without filtering.

Even if the electric base breaks, $10 is a good deal for two glass french presses
I would say that the thickest thing this could mix would be chocolate milk lol. Might be fun for kids to watch but entirely unnecessary
This works for cold brew because it mainly agitates the coffee to cause slightly faster extraction.
But at the end of the day, unless you pour it through a paper filter you will get that super grainy cheap French press strained coffee (I push it through my aeropress and it works great)
