One thing to be aware of is that if you live in a sandy, dry location, you might want to place tape or some sort of barrier over the top button. The side brushes can kick up a little sand which eventually finds its way to the top of the robot and into the little well in which the button resides. Once sand gets into the well, if you press the button, it works its way into the mechanism and eventually jams the button. You then have to take the robot apart and blow out all the sand and dust. It's not a terrible process, but a simple piece of packing tape will avoid the problem altogether. Once configured, the robot can be entirely controlled from the app, so not being able to press the button isn't a big deal.
Water everywhere and you can just mop it will sweep and mop everything including carpet.
