This 49 inch curved OLED monitor stands out as a productivity powerhouse with huge desktop space for office work, multitasking, and video editing. The wide layout handles three to four apps at once, and tools like FancyZones, Display Fusion, or dual inputs make splitting the screen easy. The OLED panel is praised for reducing eye strain, and the 1800R curve feels comfortable for some setups. For gaming, though, the stretched image and flat curvature can feel less ideal, especially on a smaller desk.
The monitor supports efficient window tiling for productivity, including arranging three windows across the 49-inch width.
Windows FancyZones and Display Fusion help partition multiple apps for multitasking and work workflows.
The OLED upgrade can reduce eye strain during long work sessions with sustained daily use.
A wider, deeper desk can make the curved ultrawide setup feel dramatically better for comfort.
The 1800R curvature can feel too flat for some desk distances, with a preference for tighter 1000R curvature.
The monitor can feel too close on desks that only allow about 18 inches of viewing distance, causing frequent head turning.
Gaming performance may feel disappointing because the screen can look overly stretched and viewing quality can be worse than expected.
Screen sharing may require a workaround using dual inputs to split the display, and support for this specific monitor is not confirmed.

Thinking in 4 or 5 years, I will try a 32" 4k or a TV on the wall before I go super duper wide.

Another consideration factor is the curvature of the monitor. I also found 1800R a bit too flat; would have preferred a 1000R instead.
Windows has some built-in screen partitioning tools, but Display Fusion works REALLY well and it's not that expensive (or even free).
