I buy 400+ watt panels from a global supplier for $150 or so (renting a minivan to pick it up, though), so this makes virtually no sense as a deal.

Unless you do not want a 400W panel, like for example if you just need to charge a single 100A 12v battery to keep a TV or fridge or other electronics going
