Overall, this watch is simply amazing for less than $100. It is not overstated and it doesn't look cheap. It is charged by the sun but half the price of the EcoDrive Citizens.
That being said, I bought one for $88.50 one year ago (3.5% inflation).

How is this more expensive than a casio duro? Seems odd that this would be more. Does it have more advanced features?

This is the Amazon review I wrote. I like it but I gave it 4/5 stars because of the bezel and the strap kinda sucks, but it's a very nice watch besides those 2 things.

I bought this for work and it has pretty much everything I need. The dial layout makes it super easy to read both 12-hour and 24-hour military time on the fly, which comes in handy on shift versus when I'm off the clock. The day and date display is clear and readable, making report writing that much smoother. Plus, the solar power is a huge win—no worrying about changing batteries, and it keeps time perfectly.
Giving it 4 out of 5 stars for one reason: the bezel looks like a rotating adjustable bezel, but it's completely fixed. Having a working bezel is nice for quickly tracking elapsed time without having to do the mental math—sure, you can just look at the watch and figure it out yourself, but it's one of those small tools that's great to have on hand. If that bezel actually moved, this watch would easily be a 5-star, perfect tool. Still a solid, reliable timepiece overall.
