now we see why these are $29.93 and not $30. Free shipping is at $60 so if they were $30 you could buy 2 and get free shipping. At $29.93 even if you buy 2 you will still be 14 cents less then free shipping. Most colors and sizes are gone

Wrong. REI has had a longtime pricing method to show markdowns. Item ending in .93 are first markdowns, .83 is second markdown, and .73 is final clearance/Outlet.
