I played the first AC game and was so damn pissed off on how it ended, that I have refused to play any other AC game since.. is this something worth getting and will it benefit from playing on the switch 2?

Assassin's Creed II was very good, in my opinion, and was far better than the original. I really enjoyed the gameplay, the setting, and the overall story.

that's good to know. So AC2 will make up for the bs AC1 ending?
i wonder if they will have a switch 2 upgrade option. would be nice to be able to enjoy better quality on the switch 2

that it literally just stopped. it wasn't even a cliffhanger. it just stopped. that's not setting up for a sequel. it's like watching a movie and someone shutting it off 3/4 of the way in with zero lead out.

The AC2 trilogy was a masterpiece. Far better than AC1 in every way including the story. But the modern day storyline (the B plot) essentially starts up right after the end of AC1.

and yes this is three games in one. each is a huge game in its own right. by the end of the first game you'll be super invested in Ezios storyline. And you'll see him grow from a brash kid to a master assassin through the three games. definitely worth the money.

You can put this way, AC1 doesn't have an ending, just move to AC2, it literally start THE SAME SPOT where you left AC1, so it's not ending there, enjoy it till AC4, after that its all trash.

Because the Ezio Collection was only release on PS4 and Xbox One, its like the remastered version from PS3, however on PC you already have all the graphics at max level and high resolution, you don't need an upgrade, so you already had everything, that's why it was never released on PC.

I kind of feel envy from you, haven't played all those games after all these years it's kind of incredible for me, that game alone, AC2, really change my life, it help me to build the way I see life now, and Ezio even if it's a fictional character, I respect him and admire him like he was my real life mentor, please enjoy the game for those who never couldn't, remember AC2 is considered by many the best video game ever created, so you are about to start a master piece, make sure you have enough time for this, I have more than 300 hours on AC2 alone.
