If you're bulking, these are an easy and tasty way to hit your protein target.
If you're cutting, I'd avoid these as you're still probably going to be hungry after you eat one.
Just my 2 cents.

Barebells protein bars stand out for candy bar like taste and a smooth, non chalky texture, with several flavors landing as some of the best tasting protein bars around. The bars are 200 calories per 1.9 ounce bar, low in sugar, and use mostly zero calorie sweeteners, but they also contain maltitol and can be very sweet or chewy. Satiety is the main tradeoff, since they are not especially filling. The deal price looks strong versus typical pricing, though pickup availability, shipping, and expiration dates can affect the value.
Common Questions (4)
They are tasty but relatively low in satiety, so they may not keep you full for long. For cutting, they can leave you hungry; they fit better as an indulgent snack when you have extra calories left at the end of the day.
Yes, they contain maltitol, and the sugar content is low because they use mostly zero-calorie sweeteners. That helps explain the candy-bar sweetness some people notice.
At about $1.75 per bar, this is described as the cheapest price seen in about a year outside of clearance, and normal pricing is usually over $2 per bar. Some shoppers still think it is only worthwhile if you have a sweet tooth.
Yes, free pickup is part of the deal, but the cart can later show some flavors as unavailable at your store even if they appeared in stock. If pickup is not available, the $13 shipping charge can erase the savings.
