I've already submitted a return to Amazon but I thought I'd let people know, I got two of these a few days ago and they seemed to work alright, today while out to lunch the light turned on in my pocket on its own and by the time I realized it had burned a hole in my pocket. Just be cautious

I got a 2 pack yesterday. On high it gets really hot within 2 minutes. If you keep hitting the power button it cycles through a few modes. I keep it on low and hold power button to shut off. It continues to the last mode you powered it off too. Only issue so far is I wish it allowed me to turn on the red light by itself The red and blue is always flashing like police. But can not use redlight as a lowlight night time use. Feel sturdy. Feels like a big pocket knife.

Does it have a lock button or lockout mode to prevent accidental activation?

I charged them and put them up in a spot for day #3 now and they have not turned on by themselves ... If you had it in your pocket you probably pressed it :/ the buttons are not very hard

Very well could be, but even if that's the case the lights no good to me if it's going to turn on on its own so easily, especially if it turn onto the brightest setting by default and gets hot enough to burn a hole in things. It's a fire hazard I'm not willing to tolerate and in not going to babysit a light and make sure the memory is always on the lowest setting. There's a ton of other lights with the same form factor with a better button or switch.

With these no name brands they are usually about half of what they claim.

If you want a flashing that has locked, olight is competitive with brands that cost up to three times more. They still aren't cheap but they are built very well have are loaded with features.
