In case it helps, my freezer defrost drain use to ice up completely solid. I wrapped a solid copper wire around the heater element and down to the drain entrance. Haven't had a problem since.

These work REALLY well to melt through iced up fridge (if you do not have frost free ones or if your defrost system is broken) or ice blocked gutters.

No. The hose is soo long that it's pretty much mist by the time it comes out. I returned mine because of it. You'd have better luck with a handheld one where it's only like an inch of travel, or a few inches with some included hoses.

It's not pressure the same way a pressure washer puts out pressure because it comes out as vapor. It dissipates and cools down quite quickly. You can only clean a small area at a time.
