Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

This container came with our blender and I find because of its wider base, it can be difficult to meet the minimum solid to liquid ratios. If not filled enough, the ingredients will get trapped on the edges and the blade spins. Considering buying the tall narrow container as a result

I was on the fence about buying this as a back up. Google AI said that for smaller quantities, the regular tall container is better. It has a 3" blade matched with a narrow base requiring 8 oz to blend properly. The short container has a 4" blade and because of its wide base requires at least 16 oz for it to blend properly. Also, the low profile also handles thicker batters or doughs better. Maybe this is all theoretical coming from AI but thought it was still useful. I'm still in for one! Thanks for posting the deal.

Amex might have 5% cash back on select cards and select Chase Sapphire cards might have 10% cash back. I picked up a classic 64oz container (taller one) for $99, but shipping is very slow if you're buying direct from Vitamix. Assume a 2 week delivery time once ordered.

I ordered my stick blender on the 18th and it says it arrives tomorrow. I wish I knew about the chase promo. I always forget to check those things.

Same here! I checked Amex Blue Cash but didn't check Chase Sapphire until after I ordered. Oh well, it is what it is. I still want a new container for my 750 Professional blender since the low profile one is hard to mix smaller amounts in, but I didn't want the smaller 48oz container since they're not as well made.
