The DCG408B (this posting) is the newer, value-oriented brushless grinder; the DCG413B is the older XR model that is the better choice chiefly because it adds meaningful electronic safety features (faster stopping, binding detection etc). If the 408 is $100 and the 413 costs only about $20–30 more, I'd choose the DCG413B.
