why you dont need additives , advice from the god of mechanics
"Fuel system Cleaning" for $244.99 along with a laundry list of other things I DID NOT need done. All they do is put a bottle of fuel system cleaner in my gas tank.
I swear dealerships are some of the worst businesses that have business security as a lobbied domestic/local monopolies. EFF them, they're just middlemen that lobby the GOV so that they stay middlemen.
I only got the warranty approved and repaired for free because I had already contacted Honda Corporate about the issue and warranty. Dealership was using scare tactics and quoting me thousands of $ for the repair.
If you do buy a fuel system / fuel injector cleaner I know that RedLine S1 and Chevron Techron has PEA cleaning solution in their formulas and document it in their data sheets.
I personally have had good results with RedLine S1 and use it every oil change.
