I can't remember a deal in the last many years where per filter price was this low (excluding all kohls cash deals, and other less tangible stuff)

I still don't understand how this has better filtration than my reverse osmosis unit (when considering total particulates). I mean I still love my RO and I only get to like 30 ppm from ~1000, but still. This is a good option for those that don't feel like monkeying around with RO.

Nevermind "Culligan is the Parent Company: Culligan acquired ZeroWater in 2020"

Thanks OP

....AND it's gone now. Seller changed to Walmart so Culligan likely ran out of stock.

RO is still better. This filter does a really good job capture magnesium and calcium particles from the water with ion-exchange resin beads. But it doesn't filter out all chemical or biological contaminants like RO. So we need to double filter, pre-filter with Brita, then filter with Zero Water. Basically, its job is to make nasty ultra-hardwater drinkable.

You really want some mineral in your drinking water anyway.

With 1000ppm hardwater, this filter is going to last maybe 2~4 week at most before it is spent? So it wouldn't be economical in that case.

Interesting that I could not order these at that price on my phone but the order went through on my computer.
I use these filters exclusively for my coffee machine, and refilling water bottles. Each filter lasts about 3 months. My water without the filter is about 400ppm.

My water is about 90% sodium. This one would crap out pretty quick but my RO lasts quite a while (1-2 years). I have it piped into my refrigerator.
