What subwoofer driver has a 70 volt transformer on it?
70v transformers roll off the bass frequencies, so I can't even imagine how a sub would be made to run on a 70v system.
Just a quick pull from google.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Massive power delivery capable of driving demanding passive subwoofers.
Integrated DSP removes the need for an external crossover/processor.
Rugged 2U rack-mount design built for reliability. [1, 2]
Cons:
Uses Phoenix-style (Euroblock) inputs and barrier strip/screw terminal outputs rather than standard RCA or Speakon connectors, requiring custom adapter cables.
Fan noise can be loud for quiet residential home theater environments. [1, 2]

Exactly.
So not only are you going to pay hundreds of dollars more for the 70v feature that you are not going to use, but Joe Homeowner is not going to own any Phoenix Ferrules, or the specialized Phoenix Crimpers to make up the custom cables.
Using non-standard or hardwire connectors is great in a bar, office building or school, where you don't want the janitor to try and "fix" anything. Or in a bar, when you don't want anyone plugging into the house sound system.
But it's a needless complication in a home when you are troubleshooting or swapping out equipment.
If you don't need the 70v, there are plenty of other Crown amps for less cash.
If you do want to hook up a bunch of 70v speakers in a chain, this is a good amp for that!

It's not for home subwoofer use, so make sure you are buying this for the right application
