This Infinity X1 7000L is a large baton style rechargeable flashlight that stands out for brightness, long battery life, and dual power support with rechargeable batteries and AA compatibility. The beam can be adjusted by sliding the head, and the light also gets praise for being useful as a heavy self defense tool. The main drawbacks are its bulky size, awkward controls, and the lack of adjustable focus compared with the 10000L model. Charging through the base is also inconvenient after a drop, so it feels best for buyers who want a big, bright light and can live with the quirks.

  • The flashlight can run on AA or NiMH batteries and it can also use a rechargeable battery pack option.

  • The flashlight can provide much longer battery life than other similar high-output flashlights.

  • The flashlight can be adjusted by pulling the head forward or back to change the beam.

  • The flashlight can function as a battery bank in addition to providing illumination.

  • The 7000L model lacks adjustable focus compared with the 10000L version.

  • The flashlight can feel less impressive than expected because it is not as powerful as its size suggests.

  • The charging design can become inconvenient after a drop because charging through the base may no longer work.

  • The smooth round profile can roll off surfaces, so grip tape or an attachment may be needed to prevent rolling.

This is an OK flashlight, definitely not as powerful as it indicates from the size but at least it comes with rechargeable batteries as well as AA's so it's pretty decent deal if you need a large baton + flashlight at this price, otherwise I would look for something smaller with similar performance. I expected a daylight type of situation from this size but it's not as impressive or "WOW" as you might expect.

You get a much longer battery life over the other similar light output flashlights.

Low Stock warehouse status means they're not really in-stock, right?
It means you may or may not find it. No one publicly seems to know what the exact threshold is. Sometimes it can be a few sitting on the shelf, sometimes it is just one singular item, sometimes everything's been sold and there's just one sitting on the return shelf behind customer service.

I have the adjustable 10k lumen one. Been happy with it. I am not someone who lives in the torch subreddit, but I do enjoy a good flash light.

i bought one at costco before the summer and it's a good light.
Rather bright. Can use either regular alkaline/NiMh AA i think, or the battery pack that probably has a couple of 18650 inside.

Not tried the power bank feature.
A few times i got it wrong and plugged the charger on the output so it would not change.
At $13, I would say it's a good deal.

A big reason of why this model was discontinued for the new one was because of the smooth round profile. They had a lot of reports of it rolling off of tables and damaging floors or landing on children/pets.

The new one has a squared off raised edge profile on the head which prevents it from rolling in addition to higher lumens.

If you get this one, either put some grip tape on it or print a 3d-printed attachment to prevent rolling.

I found the last one at my warehouse and asked the manager to price check it. He told me that inventory showed zero in stock. There was a fair bit of dust on the box which makes me think that it might have been misplaced and just recently put back on the shelf near the other flashlights.
