The 77 inch C6H stands out as a brighter, higher tier OLED than the C5, with comments pointing to the tandem panel and stronger processing as the big upgrades. Picture quality is described as excellent, with especially strong upscaling for live sports and enough brightness to matter in rooms with ambient light. The glossy screen can reflect light, and the jump to LG G series models is seen as more compelling for gaming and warranty coverage. For a dark room, the main appeal is simply getting a larger, more immersive OLED with premium performance.
The glossy screen can be managed by lowering brightness in darker rooms to avoid being too blinding.
The C6H model uses a dual-layer RGB tandem OLED panel with Hyper Radiant technology for much higher brightness.
The 77-inch C6H can deliver excellent picture quality with strong upscaling and clarifying for live sports streams.
Greentoe delivery can arrive brand-new in-box with basic unpacking and setup handled by an installer team.
The 5-year extended warranty may be added on top of the quoted price, bringing the total higher with tax.
The C6H is only available in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes, which limits options if another size is preferred.
Reflections can be an issue because the C6H has a glossy screen surface.
The G-series price gap can feel disproportionate on 77-inch models, with C6H around $2000 versus G6 around $3000.

I am sure you are right that a g6 will be noticeably better than a c5, but I don't think it's the black level. Black level on OLED should be about the same. It's the brightness that sets g series over c series among other differences like processing. However, I thought the c6h uses the same Tandem panel as the the G5.

This is a c6h not a regular c6. It's only available on the 77 and 83. It supposedly uses the same panel as the g5.
Worth it is subjective and depends on many factors when it comes to LG oled tv. It depends on your budget, how discerning are you about pq, your source media (Netflix on standard plan vs the 4k plan vs watching 4k blueray) , and your room placement (light controlled room vs lots of ambient light). I would say if this is your first oled TV, then even a c5 will blow you away. If you have tons of ambient lighting, you could consider a c6h or g5 if your budget permits. I have a b8 in my bedroom and I still love how good it is. It's not like these are cellphones where you are going to want to update it every 2 to 3 years.
