Any first aid kit experts that can comment on whether this is a waste of money or actually a decent kit?

I just purchased one for my car. Great to have it easily accessible especially with my toddler!

For $10, this is a great basic kit to keep in your car, camper, or anywhere else. You probably won't find a better option for the essentials you'll be glad to have when you need them

I think I used the coupon earlier for a simple bandaid pack, and so now it says I've used the promotion already. Would have rather got this. Good deal for those who qualify for a car kit

any idea how well this would hold up being stored in a boat?

It's a great beginner kit. Also pack a tourniquet and menstrual pads for absorbing blood. Keep in mind things in the kit do expire so inspect it and update it periodically

It's always a rule to have one of these in your car just in case. You won't think about it until that one single time you need it.

I'd already used the coupon on something else, but s&s was 50% off. Came out to $6.43. Thanks, op!

I've had this kit for years and refill it as needed. It's gone on a few dozen Scout camping trips where it typically sits on the picnic table in an obvious spot. It's done ok with the dew in the morning and some sprinkles/light rain. It doesn't have a waterproof seal, so I'd be a bit worried about exposure to continual high humidity that it might experience during long term storage on a boat.
