I just bought a PA120 but haven't opened it yet. Should I bother sending it back and paying $10 more for this? Going in a white 4000D, on a 250k Plus. Only thing I'm kinda hesitant about is that I got an H810 board which can't OC at all so I feel like this is a waste?

Have this cooler in a build, easy to install, works well, and looks surprisingly good.

If you don't need the thermal dissipation, you're better off with an air cooler, as the pumps in AIOs can and do fail quietly.

If the whole build's white id go for it for aesthetics alone but if not I wouldn't bother 🤷 ♂️

It's rarely a waste.

Keeping the thermals down on the primary components helps the surrounding components stay cool as well.

That usually translates to efficiency and a quieter system with fewer fans going full throttle.

Also, EvilTimmy is misguided about pump failure being more of an issue than air cooling. Both are hooked up to CPU FAIL monitored ports and neither are mechanically infallible.

I would trust a sealed pump to work within more of its total rated lifespan than any fan run in the average home.

Also, I have an Aqua Elite 360 v4 hooked up to an i9-14900 that's been running for over 5,000 hours in total. Thermals are still under 90°F on average with no leaks and still on original fans. Dusted regularly.
