I love mine, paired it with one of the dewalt separators that's been on sale recently and fit it with a hepa filter. Use it to clean out my guinea pig pen daily, and it's even-toned and quiet enough to not send them into a panic. The motor being 10 ft away from the business end helps too.

Would love to get this dewalt setup... But it wouldn't clear the table height that the piggies pen is set up on sadly

I don't know anything about shop vacs, so why would the hose size be a hard pass? I'm assuming bigger is better becauseā€¦ more sucking power? More compatibility with accessories?

How does this compare to a 15 year old 5 gal shop vac branded one i got ? Didn't really have any complaints with that one and have the dust separator, but I only use that dust separator when I'm using my miter saw
