At Staples - No Purchase Fee when you buy a $200 Mastercard Gift Card In Store Only (a $7.95 value) - Starts from 8/16/26-8/22/26 - Limit 9 per customer per day

In store only.

Note: Staples removed the picture from their local ad showing the fee waived. Once live, and if available this posting will be updated.

FAQ's:
- No, you cannot use Staples GC's to purchase these.
- No, these do not count towards your spend requirements for a premier membership.
- No, these do not earn you any Staples rewards.
- No, you cannot use coupons/ rewards to purchase these GC's.
- Yes, you can split payment between multiple cards (if your cashier permits it) YMMV
- The limit of 9 may or may not be enforced depending on your store/ cashier. YMMV
- Why is this a deal? Some members have CC's that earn 5% CB at office supply stores (INK and Amex Simply Cash). Others need to meet minimum CC spend.
- What if my store doesn't accept payment with a CC? Your store likely has had issues with fraud and it is managers discretion on what payment they will accept.
- Other chase cards may have special offers for Staples ($ limited). Check your chase account under chase offers.

They keep doing this. Will wait for confimation.
I wish you would bold the sentence you have explaining they removed the offer from their ad at the link, and there is no current verification.
I missed it and could not find the offer either. Then when I reread it I saw you knew about it.

No idea what you're saying but if you're questioning the existence of this promotion, you can simply call them and verify it but if you choose not to, rest assured it's currently active as of today.

I am saying the promotion is not on the site. I am saying this means it is not confirmed as valid because that might mean it was canceled. I am saying I missed the sentence from the OP about it (my fault but not to be expected for a deal post), so I suggested the OP should put the part about it being removed from the site in bold.

The first thing I do if I see no "obvious" notes or codes in bold is to click on the deal link. Then I could not find it.

So I was waiting for someone's first-hand experience to know for sure. What is not to understand about those points? How does my post give you no idea of what I am talking about??

Thank you for advising me how I could verify over the phone, without driving out to a store, as none are near me. Repped you!
And based on your post, I cannot "rest assured" unless you left out that you called to verify. I will call myself if you are saying you are just taking it on faith, or if I am not in a hurry to know, I will wait to see someone's first-hand success posted here.

Again, sometimes deals get changed or pulled was another original point. Have you never experienced that?

Manufactured spend is weak when there isn't an easy way to cash these out. You're tying up $1800/day (potentially) to scrape $90 in CB.

Ok. My 5% cards are fuel. I buy my gift cards at places that sell fuel.
