This is the price point I've been waiting on but I do wonder if it might be better to wait on the newer edition to go lower. I've waited long enough at this point that what's a bit more time and I've got a nasty backlog too 🤔

C'mon man, what's one more game for the backlog?? It's not gonna drop more than 10%, but the value of our dollar probably will.

Digital version is going for $40 on Playstation store , the digital over physical guys should get that one .

If you know for sure that you're going to be buying the extra characters than you'll save more money in the long run by getting the new one that bundles Year 1&2 Fighters Edition. Sometimes that drops to $40.

This game routinely goes on sale for $20 digital. It was on sale last month.

If I bought the base game, I probably wouldn't buy the additional characters unless I just really got into the game. The fighting games havent really done that for me in awhile. I think MK11 was probably the last title where that happened. With that said though, I do prefer getting the DLC with the game and it's one of the various reasons I rarely buy games at launch. I think I'll sit this one out and wait for the newer edition to come down more. I just looked on the PS Store to see what the DLC available and what it is running and yeah, I'm going to wait on the newer edition to go down.

I'm going to hold off but you definitely make a compelling case 😂 You're right...at $19.99, it's probably not dropping any lower for quite some time while it's almost guaranteed the value of the dollar continues dropping. With Sony doing away with physical games, I'm starting to wonder if I should be buying every $20 game I can get ahold of 😀
