This is absolutely nuts. This was a $99 watch, $60 on deals.

With that said it is a gorgeous watch, and you can find guides online to replace the bracelet with a "oyster" one and it really punches above the cost.

Seiko 5s haven't been $100 for many many years. Whats your source?

I was buying them at that price 6 years ago, around 2019.

I have two orders they did not fulfil for 6+ months when I gave up on them. It's their MO - they announce bombastic discounts and then they blame you for not calling in to confirm your order. Other people had issues with merchandise not passing genuine product registration with both seiko and citizen, but I didn't had this issue since they did not fulfil.

I have the same complaints, but "before COVID" was a different world. Everywhere I look this watch is about $150 now, if you have a source for under $100 please let us know.

Jomashop is grey market. You won't get a manufacturer's warranty with them, which is why they provide their own warranty. Most of their merch is product that isn't moving in one market, so they buy in bulk at a discount. When that bulk is sold, you're out of luck.

I've never had a problem with jomashop, but you have to know what you're getting into.

If you leave the orders out there and they become available (which you didn't confirm) they will message you to ask for payment.

That's what happened with my Citizen.

I can't leave no order "out there" because they void/cancel them in 6 months to absolve themselves of any responsibilities.

You're making awful lot of assumptions right there "Most of their merch is product that isn't moving in one market".
Since you're not claiming you're affiliated with them, I'd throw one more - they are just a channels of selling watches without the warranty cost component.
