I currently use this as the home router and use a Slate AX as my travel router. If you mean VPN with the travel router to your home router, typically you have two options to. Wireguard is the better option if your ISP can support it (mine doesnt). The fallback is tailscale. If you mean connect to a VPN company, some companies are supported directly in the router interface.
