Ya good move. I had a BH EDU discount matched for hte m5 PRO 14" Nano Texture , 1TB and 48GB ram for $2700ish i returned before the price hikes figuring id wait for another deal .. Well that didn't work out well lol. I did snag a Bestbuy open box m5 MAX Base config for $3k which gives me applecare also (total tech member) but man Gloss screens suck cant believe Nano is not more common, i supposed majority of laptop buyers dont even leave the house ? lol

You can apply a matte screen protector to get basically the same look

I ordered one before the price hike 16" M5 pro with 48Gb 2TB for $3,099. Cancelled it because liked the nano texture screen in person. Then proce went up and thought I'd just wait for next gen. Ended up getting this, seems I essentially traded 1tb ssd for nano texture screen.
