This 16 inch MacBook Pro stands out as a high end configuration with the nano texture display, 48GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The screen finish is the main draw, since it is rare on MacBook deals and is valued for cutting glare, while the machine still weighs under 5 pounds and feels portable for a large laptop. Pricing comparisons put it near prior M5 Max money, with recent references ranging from about $2400 to $3189 for similar setups. B and H also has a zero return policy on opened laptops, so the deal is strongest if the nano texture screen matters most.
Common Questions (5)
The nano-texture screen is a rare option on MacBook deals and is the main reason some buyers prefer this configuration over a standard glossy panel. A matte screen protector can approximate the look, but it is not the same as the factory nano-texture finish.
This $3,099 price is close to prior M5 Max money and has been undercut by other recent offers, including a $2,400 Micro Center price for the same configuration and a $3,189 Apple refurb. A 14-inch model with similar specs was also listed at $2,899.
It weighs under 5 pounds and is still considered very portable for a 16-inch laptop. It is fine for quick trips, but carrying it all day can feel heavy.
B&H Photo has a zero-return policy on opened laptops, so opened units can only be exchanged. That makes it worth being sure about the configuration before ordering.
This deal effectively trades 1TB of SSD capacity for the nano-texture display compared with a previously seen 16-inch M5 Pro 48GB/2TB configuration at the same $3,099 price. If the matte screen matters more than extra internal storage, this version is the better fit.
