In for one, been waiting for this extra 20% discount to come back when the ultimate 2s are in stock. I have the Pro 3 from a previous deal and it's by far my favorite controller, but my smaller kids have trouble with the thumbstick location on that one. The superior build quality and TMR joysticks and included charging dock all make this a win. (We have a PowerA Advantage which is spotty, but obviously a cheap build quality, and the GameSir Nova HD which is a quality product but has fairly frequent difficulty connecting, and two generic wave controllers that are clearly inferior).

Also, for those who care, 8Bitdo's latest firmware updates allow you to shake their switch 2 controllers to wake the switch 2. Follow their instructions, then it's as simple as hit a button to wake the controller, then shake it to wake the switch.

I'm not sure what you mean by "load". There is a physical selector on the back of the controller that toggles between three modes: S, D (labeled BT) and S/X (labeled 2.4g). Put it in the last slot and it doesn't use bluetooth.

sorry there is X-input and D-input the only way the pro 3 can be put into D-input is through bluetooth when you use the dongle it puts it in X-input this matters for like on PC emulators that you can re assisn all buttons including the back buttons to whatever you want. I might have the X and D reversed its been a while since i messed around with it. The Pro 2 allowed you to hold certain buttons to swithc the input method no matter dongle or bluetooth but when the pro 3 came out it couldnt do that and at one point they said they didnt intend to change that but im hoping they change their mind its a great controller but i might end up buying a pro 2 for that ability since my PC doesnt have bluetooth and a dongle doesnt tend to work to great for latency.

Checking today at approx. 1130 EDT - I'm seeing the price is $44.99. Still seems like a good deal, tbh

EDIT - Disregard, read the full post and see that a discount code is needed for the cheaper price. Thanks for sharing!

keep in mind that if you using the bluetooth on the PC or android, it present itself as Nintendo controller. it may or may not be what you want.

if you want it to present has xbox controller, you must use the 2.4G wireless dongle not the bluetooth. or you get the xbox version of the controller.

Super deal. I love mine all except the face button font, which looks cheesy

I was able to get this used for $50. I use it for my Switch. Honestly, I like the feel of the controller a lot, but the snapback is really annoying. If I'm playing a game and flick in one direction, my character will turn that direction, but then the snapback will turn them the opposite way.

There's also a little bit of dead zone with the gyroscope, unlike the original Switch controllers. When making slight aiming adjustments with the gyroscope, those adjustments will freeze over time, and I end up having to turn my controller way farther than with the original Switch controllers. It's very annoying.

I've contacted them about a firmware update, but I haven't received a reply. I have to set the dead zone to about 50% of the travel in order to reduce the snapback problem, which is pretty silly.

I still like the controller, though, so I'm on the fence about this price. Are there any good alternatives around this price range that don't have terrible snapback or gyroscope dead zone?

I can't decide between this or the pro 3. Seems they are identical except for the ergonomics. And that the Pro 3 has swappable buttons.

Is there's a wireless dongle included with this?
