YMMV but I was able to get an additional $35 off by using PayPal which brought it down to ~$275.

Your screen clip includes sales tax. Mine was $299 with sales tax. Obviously sales tax will vary by area.

Kobra S1 has a larger bed 250mm cubed for printing and is already equipped with enclosure for the printing area. The AD5X is smaller 220mm cubed and isn't enclosure, meaning filament that need ambient temps to stay even till finished printing will need extra parts.

Ace Pro 1 stinks. Have had mine 4 months and it's broken down 4 times requiring disassembly of the ams unit. PITA. Heard Ace Pro 2 is much better but I'm stuck with this crap.

If you go with the S1, make sure you can return it. There's a decent chance you might have a great printer, there's also a decent chance you'll have bed issues and will spend weeks trying to get it sorted out before throwing in the towel.

I wouldn't buy anything from Anycubic on principle, as they've been effectively stealing open source designs and filing for patents on them. You can read Prusa's write-up on that topic.

Hell of a buy. I have one and it works well. Once in a while It does freak out on some of the covered prints but you just have to turn it off real fast. Other than making a lot of poop it work well with all types of filament. Prints best with PETG.

1/2 of bamboo cost but does require online mode. Good cheep printer mine had a camera, dryer with the four spool holder. Bed is a little smaller that bamboo but still bigger than others. Good starter printer.
