$10/300 yd is about the highest price I'm willing to pay for budget fishing lines like this. Otherwise you'd better spend the same money on better known brands like Daiwa Grand.

Problems with cheaper brand braids are inconsistent quality, manufacturing defects, faster degradation, color bleeding, thicker than the claimed diameter and unexpected breakage. If you fish occasionally, then you could get a budget braid and if it works then great. But the chances of losing fish, expensive lures etc will go up. You may also get wind knots, birds nests more as cheaper braids are less forgiving for the user errors. In the end potential frustration you have to deal with will ruin your fun and fishing experience and it's not worth saving the $10. Quality braids will also last longer so you don't need to spend money again replacing old lines. Nothing against this deal but my $0.02 on braided lines.

Daiwa grand 8x is awesome - but its about $30 for an equivalent test/yds. Nice price on this one so I guess its worth giving it a try. Has anyone tried the 8lb of this one?
