This Humsienk 12 volt 100 amp hour LiFePO4 battery looks like a strong low cost upgrade for solar, RV, and trailer use. Real world setups with multiple batteries have run air conditioners and other loads for 18 plus months without issues, and the brand line has also held up in a 48 volt golf cart install. The main cautions are the 100 amp BMS, no Bluetooth, and the need for a lithium compatible charger. Mixing ages or battery types can also shorten life or cause uneven loading.
A real-world travel trailer setup ran four of these 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries daily for an 18+ month period without issues.
A solar-powered configuration using four of these batteries reportedly produced about 450W peak output in Florida sun.
A 48V 100Ah golf cart battery installation from the same brand/model line reportedly worked without issues.
Lithium LiFePO4 batteries can discharge to 0% without permanent damage, unlike AGM or lead batteries.
Mixing batteries of different ages or lots can reduce the lifespan of the newer battery and can also cause uneven load sharing.
A 100A BMS may be too low for the battery's needs, raising concerns about protection headroom.
No Bluetooth shifts reliance onto the BMS, and some BMS may not stop before the battery goes too low, risking permanent damage and reduced max output.
Charging can fail if the power converter or charger is not compatible with lithium, because the battery may never reach a full 100% charge.
