Is glossy better?

I believe colors "pop" more on glossy, however if you're in a room that gets lots of light or have a light behind you then glossy has a lot more glare than a matte finish does.

By "like this" do you mean in this price range?

Dell has that new Alienware that just came out but it is 39" and about double the price before discounts

I have the Samsung Neo G7 32" 4k monitor (Mini-LED) that I got for $379. Is this worth the upgrade?
Tough decision for sure, I haven't seen 4k OLED any cheaper than this

Unless you can get a full refund, I don't think it makes financial sense.

Yeah but I got it Mar 14, 2025 so no chance of that. Pretty sure I can sell it locally though so I went for the Oled. I would really like to get back to a Flat panel and I got 18 months out of the Neo G7 so time to move on.

If you're comfortable selling second hand, I would go for it. I think it's a significant upgrade even if it costs you $200ish out of pocket.

I got my Monitor yesterday and wouldn't you guess it DOA. I messed with it for over an hour and never got anything on the screen.
I tried everything I really wanted this thing to work. tried both HDMI an DP on 2 different computers nothing but a black screen and no signs of life.

Samsung was courteous and apologized and sent me a return slip (Fedex) and promised to price match after I got my refund.

that sucks. Sounds like a lot of hassle. Ive gotten 2 samsung monitors from Samsung.com and both flawless. Currently I have a Samsung neo g8. Like you said, id like to get back to a flat panel. I hate the gamery/thick/curvy look. Also the curve makes it heavy for monitor arms. The panel looks nice but the bloom is noticeable. The OLED would look noticeably better with infinite contrast and no bloom. Have you looked into selling it. Im wondering how much I could sell mine locally as id rather not ebay.

I paid $379 for the 32" Neo G7 in march of 2025 so I suppose $200 / $250 would be a reasonable offer on it.
