This Tasty Bite Mexican Protein Bowl is being discussed as a convenient shelf stable meal, but the strongest takeaway is that the protein label looks misleading. The posted nutrition that surfaced shows 360 calories, 12 grams of protein, 61 grams of carbs, and 520 milligrams of sodium, which makes it read more like a carb bowl than a true protein bowl. The listing also lacked a visible nutrition label, adding to the skepticism. A separate app score of 90 out of 100 and a lower Subscribe and Save total kept some interest alive, making it a niche pick if the macros fit your goals.

  • The deal can be cheaper when Subscribe & Save and a Prime Access Grocery Credit apply together.

    soopersaucey

  • The product may appeal to shoppers who prioritize app-based nutrition scoring over the thread's macro discussion.

    acumark

  • The bowl can work as a convenient college-food option for someone who already enjoys it.

    desynergy

  • Nutrition details reportedly show 61g carbs, 12g protein, 360 calories, and 520mg sodium, which many consider unfavorable for a protein bowl.

    AquaHealth433chrisjwillbeowulf7

  • The macros reportedly look misleading for a "protein bowl," with criticism that it functions more like a carb bowl.

    AquaHealth433StrongGazelle9261beirbuddycom

  • The listing reportedly lacks a nutritional label, which makes the stated macros hard to verify.

    AquaHealth433Caspertoo

  • The product may not fit muscle-gain or maintenance goals at a calorie deficit, based on how the macros are interpreted.

I wasnt impressed with it, but it's better than Ben's "Street Food" bowls. My son likes it, so I'll buy it for college food.

No nutritional label posted in the listing. Being that this is plant protein I suspect it is actually a "carb bowl". No way it has less than 12g of carbs. And not a chance it's 12g protein for max 120 calories. Bad buy.

"See deal" button took me to Amazon. But yep, I was right. 61g carb 12g protein 360 cal. Oh and 520mg sodium. Yikes!

Holy high blood pressure Batman! I will pass on this because 12g of protein does not justify over 500mg of salt.

Only 12g of protein at a cost of 360 calories is pretty bad for something labeled as a protein bowl.

Trash macros to be called a "protein bowl"... they really need to regulate this bs, it's getting old.

The Yuka app gives this a 90/100. You guys are great for knowing cost per sheet of toilet paper but I'll trust the Yuka app more than the nutritional advice from this thread. I'm in.

Not just 12g at a cost of 360, but it's only 17% DV of protein. After adjusting for protein digestibility, this is actually around 8.5g of usable complete protein at a cost of 360 calories. I would not consider this a protein specific product in any way.
