I have the 4K+ 60hz screen on my T1g Gen 8 and it is phenomenal, actually holds up to my Alienware 32 inch 4K OLED, and amazing brightness. Of course, if you're wanting to game in over 60hz then it's not for you, but if youre trying to hit 120+ then you probably should be using an external monitor anyways.

Even for day to day normal office use, 60hz still feels clunky if you ever used anything higher like 120hz

I purposely avoid anything over 60 Hz for this reason, I don't want to be "ruined"

It ruins you for a reason. Faster screen allows you to interact with the UI faster and read content while you scroll it, and the moment you adjust your reflexes to take advantage of that, 60 Hz starts sucking.

I certainly agree on the iPhone/ipad where I'm often reading and scrolling, but I find the bigger laptop screen to be more of a static experience, and I don't even scroll with the 240hz Alienware monitor.This 4K (actually more because it had higher vertical distance) is just gorgeous for detail, and insane brightness for a laptop. Color great as well, particularly for a non-OLED. There is an OLED version at 3.2K but it would be a step backward IMHO.
