$150 more for just an extra 256GB of SSD, everything else the same? Seems a bit high...

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

256gb kills it. This could have been a good deal at 512gb. If not 1tb, you really beed 512gb to work with normal stuff unless you pay extra for online storage or add secondary storage.

Agreed. The 256GB unit is a good deal at $450 new, but the extra 256GB in the second model is not worth $150. The only other detail that is listed for the 512GB but not 256GB model is "HP Imagepad" under the Keyboard section. As far as I can see, this is just a multi-point touchpad that supports gestures. The 256GB model may have this too, but it's not listed.

According to review, 4k video playback no issues (I assume output to a 4K monitor), MS office works, gaming a no no (unless you play very very light graphic games), video editing no, regular web surfing and email work fine.

It's ARM. A Snapdragon X.

Will work fine for 99% of uses other than gaming. If you want to game, this laptop isn't for you. If you want a laptop with a good screen and battery life, this laptop will suit you well
