this thing looks tiny. what;s the use case for these compared to DJI Neo FPV, for example?

This is completely different; it's a genuine Whoops FPV drone. You primarily use it for aggressive flying indoors (or outdoors) in ACRO mode, which is fully manual.

What Makarony said, its a real drone thats much harder to fly than a neo but thats the fun part. Its being a skilled pilot on this little thing and being able to do tricks and fit in cracks. There is a lot of videos on you tube of people flying in libraries, offices, down huge buildings etc. it actually has the neo's camera, but this is wider. "Tiny whoops" or "whoops" are the nick name for these things. One thing to note you do need DJI goggles and a radio.

By radio do you mean a specific controller or any controller would work? I have Goggles N3 already but I'm not sure if RC Motion 3 would work for a fully manual flight 🤔

Sorry, I should've been more specific. You can use any ELRS radio controller with this drone unfortunately the motion three controller will not work with it. although the DJI FPV 3 controller will. I am using a radio master pocket to fly this drone. Radiomaster generally makes the best controllers. If you're in the United States, make sure you get the FCC ELRS version. Same goes with any 04 drones that you buy. You will see "SBUS" or "ELRS" always buy ELRS. All you need right now is a radio master pocket, which will only cost you about $70 and this drone and you're ready to fly!

thanks, this is helpful. my artificial brain suggested that I should try a simulator first before committing to a real aircraft. also, I think the pocket controller you mentioned is seemingly heavily discounted now on Ali - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...08375.html so, my last question before buying the controller: will the pocket work with my dji drones as well? asking just to make sure there will be at least one more use case if my reaction is not good enough for FPV acrobatics lol

of course! and the pocket will not work any DJI drones unfortunately. It will only work with drones that have ELRS. So the good thing is if you ever want to fly analog you can use that same controller for an analog drone. But you need analog goggles. I would start with a simulator called liftoff or liftoff microdrones. That would be a great start and you can use the pocket on those sims!
