The problem with the display model at Costco is going to be the number of hours on the display. I don't think their warranty covers OLED burn in

This LG 65 inch OLED evo bundle stands out for the panel itself, the included soundbar, and the free mounting option, with the Fanatics eCard and Rinse credit adding extra value. The deal math also looks strong versus other store pricing, especially on the 77 inch version. The free wall mount is the better setup choice than the table mount. Main cautions are LG privacy and app permission concerns, plus the Fanatics eCard ended after 8 30 for at least one order. A solid value bundle if the extras still apply.

Common Questions (5)

  • Using an external streaming device and leaving the TV offline is recommended if you want to limit LG's data collection. The concern is that LG's connected features and PC-link behavior can request broad permissions and access to device data.

    Slurm93nub1nub1

  • The Fanatics eCard was a rebate after purchase, but it ended on 8/30 and was no longer applicable after that date. If you order after the cutoff, the promotion may not be honored.

    SplendidPanther3854yankees177

  • One posted total was $1335 after tax with the soundbar and wall mount. Another calculation put the 77-inch version at $1980 with $300 Rinse credits and a more expensive soundbar.

    Iron.HeadJeRRyCuRLz

  • Choose the free wall mount. The table mount is the one to avoid in this setup, and the wall mount is the better included option if you plan to use the bundled mounting add-on.

    Iron.Head

  • Yes. The TV reportedly blocks app use until you agree to the setup permissions, and the initial consent flow is more restrictive than on the older C5.

I keep hesitating to pull the trigger here because of other possible options so looking for opinions here. There are 2 real options and one that's a possibility. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've been waiting on the 77c5 to go clearance at Costco but it hasn't yet and there will only be one available when it does. They won't sell the floor model until the new in box unit goes but when it does, they'll sell the floor model for $850. Then i just need to figure out how to get it home. I also have to be there at the right time.

There's also the clearance lg 65g5 at Costco in Christiana, DE (no tax) which is new in box at $1500, but it's a drive of 2 hours each way.

Then there's this deal (which also includes the mounting). I won't use the rinse credits but will use the gift card.

Tv is going in the bedroom to replace a 10 year old 55" Samsung LED. I can accommodate either but do feel like the 77 might be a little big

How do you know the clearance price will be 850? Do you think this will be at all costcos? Then... is it just checking the store almost daily to see when it does?

Displays go half off original prices when it's the last one. I use the app to check the warehouse. When it's "low stock", it's the last model. This has always been my experience at my specific costco

What's the gift card? The G5 might not be all that superior for indoor use. My total is 1335 after tax with the soundbar and the wall mount.

Costco in my area was not willing to budge down $1500.00 on floor model.

FYI... everyone needs to research LG's privacy invasion issues. They are out of hand compared to other brands. Do your research! I was a LG fan till I started reading into it.

Yes, if you buy this tv ( because it's fantastic u must admit ) I'd suggest you don't plug it in to the internet, use it with an external streaming device. LG is doing some shady shit

77" comes to $1980 w/ $300 Rinse credits and a more expensive soundbar for about $800 less than any other store right now, if anyone is in the market. Comes with the free mounting, etc as well
