The problem with the display model at Costco is going to be the number of hours on the display. I don't think their warranty covers OLED burn in

This LG 65 inch OLED evo bundle stands out for the panel itself, the included soundbar, and the free mounting option, with the Fanatics eCard and Rinse credit adding extra value. The deal math also looks strong versus other store pricing, especially on the 77 inch version. The free wall mount is the better setup choice than the table mount. Main cautions are LG privacy and app permission concerns, plus the Fanatics eCard ended after 8 30 for at least one order. A solid value bundle if the extras still apply.

  • The free wall mount option is preferable to the table mount for the optional setup add-on.

    Iron.Head

  • The deal can include free mounting and a soundbar while still landing around a $1335 total after tax.

    Iron.Head

  • The Fanatics eCard can be used as a rebate after purchase rather than as an upfront credit.

    SplendidPanther3854

  • The Costco clearance pattern can reduce pricing substantially when a display or last unit is marked low stock.

    SplendidPanther3854

  • LG TV connectivity can raise privacy concerns, including advice to avoid internet connection and claims about invasive data access.

    Slurm93nub1nub1

  • The Costco display model risk includes accumulated hours and uncertainty about whether the warranty covers OLED burn-in.

    kooltrini

  • The Fanatics eCard promotion can become inapplicable after 8/30, which can force cancellation or avoidance.

    yankees177

  • Initial app setup on the C6 can require agreeing to everything before apps can be used.

Hell yea I admit its a nice panel. I found about LGs dirtiness when researching which G model to buy. They got sued in Europe. If you plug tv into pc it installs an installer that has permission to all your PC data without telling you. It will send all your contacts to LG and know what files you have on HD and external devices connected via usb. Its pretty shocking.

I keep hesitating to pull the trigger here because of other possible options so looking for opinions here. There are 2 real options and one that's a possibility. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've been waiting on the 77c5 to go clearance at Costco but it hasn't yet and there will only be one available when it does. They won't sell the floor model until the new in box unit goes but when it does, they'll sell the floor model for $850. Then i just need to figure out how to get it home. I also have to be there at the right time. There's also the clearance lg 65g5 at Costco in Christiana, DE (no tax) which is new in box at $1500, but it's a drive of 2 hours each way. Then there's this deal (which also includes the mounting). I won't use the rinse credits but will use the gift card. Tv is going in the bedroom to replace a 10 year old 55" Samsung LED. I can accommodate either but do feel like the 77 might be a little big
Where are you seeing the stock and whether items are on clearance?

Great deal. But frustrating - I only need (and can fit) a 55" TV and that dea just isn't as good.

Fanatics GC ended on 8/30 and this post had me order only to see it's not applicable after that.
