They can't sell the tickets.

The economy is poop.

You can still milk the experience by testing the crash ratings

After attending today….I honestly cannot recommend this absurdly-planned and moronic event.

We parked and got in line at around 10:10 and the line to get in (WITH tickets!) was over 45 minutes long. We didn't get in until around 11am.

They have no intelligent queue system to speak of whatsoever (at a tech event ??) so every single line to wait for anything is at minimum 30-40 minutes long. They already have your phone number when gathering data at each retailer booth…why can they not implement a system to text when the drives are ready so people aren't just needlessly standing in absurd lines wasting time?

The test drive lines aren't even near the brand booths with the show cars so you cant even peruse while you're waiting.

Some booths also had test drive cars sitting but not enough attendants to ride along so the line just sat and droves of people would just leave.

Rivian was packed, but managed to test drive an R2 and R1T. The driving attendants were all super cool and very cordial.

The motocross riders also left at 2:30 because of "wind", so if you're planning on going to watch the stunts then do be aware this might happen.

Did not ride the scooters or bikes, so can't comment on those. Perhaps that's a better experience.

I really wanted to enjoy this but damn was this poorly orchestrated. Maybe tomorrow they will learn from their mistakes but I highly doubt it if this is an event that happens annually.

If you get there early enough, there is free street parking and free parking in adjacent lots.

We first drove into the paid lot and asked the hired attendant and they confirmed that nearby lots are free.

It's not bad for a free event, but I agree even with a dash pass the wait is absurd. The bikes are not bad because you can take as many laps as you'd like, and parking is free outside the venue

I feel bad for the people that paid for this. A pair in front of me asked if they could buy tickets from that line so I gave em qr code to a link to get in for free and they were thankful, but makes me wonder what % of attendees there actually paid for that stuff.

Did this replace the electrify expo?
