I've had my BB1000 for over 5 years now and I haven't had any issues.

I have two other BioBidet seat models, both purchased from Costco, for over 7 years and never had a problem. 5months ago, I remodeled another bathroom and just installed this exact one and so far no problems. My home does have water softener and filtration/dechlorination so maybe that's why?

Agree. I owned one and the so called "long last", "durable" plastic hinge was broken after 4 years. I called their CS and was told my model was no longer manufacturered and they cannot send me the replacement part.

Buy it or not, the discounted $300 is still way overpriced.

I had the same bad experience with it too. Fortunately, Costco took it back under warranty and bought Brondell Swash one which is OK.

The exact same thing happened to me! Bought two (DIB 850) directly from Bio Bidet; they came with a 3-year warranty. Both started having the exact same issues 3 months after the warranty expired. Contacted Bio Bidet, and they said that model was discontinued and there are no parts at all for them and they'll need to be replaced.

As I've said many times, avoid this brand. They like to shill them here, but they are a poor product and have poor customer service. Even if its cheap, you're probably just throwing your money away. Get a Toto instead.

Agreed on quality, I had a Bio Bidet and the heat died shortly after the warranty expired. Charged me $75 to repair it.
