Metal $8.33 - $1.03 (Amz saving) = $8.33
Different of $1.27 worth the metal box? I have always use the plastic but they broke after about 10 - 15 years in the sun. Can you use it with the plastic conduit with the grounding wire hooked up to the box?

that said, these are easily had for under $10 at big box stores around here (significantly so if you buy multiple) - this is a meh deal on a questionable temu replica product at best. If its MY house, I'd buy reputable quality - if its a rental or you're moving soon, buy cheap chinese junk. Building materials competition is so great that they're profits are cut to the bone, if you find cheaper versions from overseas, its because they're significantly worse in material or manufacture to be so.
you answered your own question... on the sunny side of the house where it will be exposed to significant direct sun, go metal.

The exact same brand and model at Lowe's is $11.98 for me locally, so this is much cheaper for the exact same product
