Beyond Burger patties are a close stand in for ground beef, with enough similarity that they can replace pricier beef in burgers. The deal math lands around $4.48 per pound after Walmart Cash, which is near current ground beef pricing and makes the pack feel worth trying. The comments also note a lower saturated fat profile and an 18 percent fat blend. The main caution is that the regular price still feels high, and the Walmart Cash and Ibotta offers appear to be mutually exclusive.

Common Questions (4)

  • No. The deal is one or the other: you can use the Ibotta rebate for online purchases, but if you activate Walmart Cash, the Ibotta submission can be rejected because Walmart Cash uses Ibotta as the backend.

  • After the $6.75 Walmart Cash, the 6-pack works out to about $4.48 per pound. That puts it slightly below the cited $4.97/lb ground beef comparison, though the regular price is much higher.

  • They are described as pretty good and close enough to ground beef to buy instead of expensive beef, though not better than real beef. The patties also reportedly have lower saturated fat than before.

  • At the regular price, it is viewed as too expensive; after Walmart Cash it drops to about $4.48 per pound, which is considered low enough to try. One recent purchase was around $15 a month or two earlier, suggesting the current offer is mainly attractive because of the discount.

Gonna need to be free after rebate to get people to buy this dogshit.
Yet you probably eat meat from an unsanitary slaughterhouse full of feces and biowaste without batting an eye

Better this dogshit that doesn't require compromises of conscience and doesn't disrespect divine life than real meat dogshit that does. Either way you're eating dogshit. At the least then keep it respectful, accountable, responsible, and torment-free.

it should be cheaper than real meat for mass adoption. Also reduce bad macros...

Edit: Looks like they did lower sat. fats. Keep it up!

They are actually pretty good. They are not better than ground beef, but they are close enough that I'll buy them over the crazy expensive beef of today.

These are $8.976 a pound before Walmart cash, $4.48/lbs after W cash. Ground beef is $4.97/lb.

Like Taylor Farms? You sure about that ☠️ Plant-based ain't clean either.
C'mon dude. Legumes and lettuce aren't even the same species. I get that they both start with the letter "L", but there's a few more steps in that phylum tree you created between "meats" and "non-meats".

I'm not sure if it works for online/mobile purchases, but there's also a $6.75 rebate on Ibotta for these.

it's one or the other. you can get the IB for online, but you must NOT activate the WMT Cash offer.

I used to buy the ground version of this and on two separate occasions when opened a freshly thawed package it wreaked of formaldehyde or the like. Ingredients are pretty bad for you as well. Why can't they make something that is actually good for us?

They do make things that are good for you but you're not interested in buying those healthy options. You literally have trillions of options, but people prefer not what is nutritious or good for them, animals, and the environment. They prefer what self-indulgingly tastes better. And well… what tastes good is faaaken Satan. And then you make your choice bud.
