The trimmer cuts very well, but I've had issues with the knob in the center breaking which turns this from a trimmer into an edger. If you're as hard on your trimmer as mine (occasional drops) then be aware.

This thing is terrible. The worst Braun product I've ever purchased. 50% of the time it will not even cut the target area, with or without a guard on. I'm not sure if there's something off with this model/year, but it's been a huge disappointment considering I jumped on a very similar deal a few months back and I'm shopping for a new trimmer today.

It's possible mine is defective but it functions like normal but just refuses to actually clip hair. It will do a dry beard shave, but even that is inconsistent and choppy. Overall the motor is mid and the blade feels useless. It will do the bare minimum and require multiple passes. Braun has been going south for years now and I would avoid this product in particular.

I've been very happy with Wahl products, and Norelco as well. Will stick to them after reading the Amazon reviews.
