Overall I've been happy with cyberpower and I'd buy from them again if needed. I have my main gaming PC hooked up to it along with my monitor. I have a cheaper lower power APC for my networking hardware that's not pure sinewave, but it's hot swappable.
Anyhow, if you need this, you need this, but I am now firmly in the camp of a single 7Ah SLA providing the seconds of runtime I need to smooth out the afternoon flickers for any one connected device, with a longer lifespan than 9Ah of equivalent weight. Until the whole-house battery of some nebulous future.
These are pure UPS- anything connected to the (battery portion) constantly runs off battery, so any power outage doesn't have to make a power switch. Some equipment doesn't like that brief switchover the cheaper UPS do that just cutover to battery when outage occurs.
With that said, the main downside to these is CyberPower locked some of their software features to do with like estimated battery heath behind subscription. I don't subscribe to this, but it's just worth knowing.
These are very standard lawn mower batteries that can be replaced for $20-25/ea... I usually get a few years out of them before they need to be replaced. I run the self tests about once a quarter, and when those fail is when I know it needs to be replaced.
